Cinnamon Baked Apples

The comforting flavor of Fall in every bite! These Cinnamon Baked Apples are sweet, delicious, and super simple to prepare.

Enjoy them warm from the oven or chilled for a satisfying snack.

Preparation time: 20 minutes

Baking Time: 15-20 minutes

Yield:  8 servings


  • 2-1/2 pounds fuji, gala or honey crisp apples, unpeeled
  • 1/4 Cup melted butter; vegan butter if desired
  • 3/4 Tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1-1/2 Tablespoons coconut sugar 


Combine cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl. Preheat oven to 400°. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a fine mesh strainer or sifter, lightly dust the baking sheet with half of the cinnamon and sugar mixture.

Cut apples into wedges and place in a large bowl. Drizzle with the melted butter, toss to coat, and arrange them in a single layer on the baking sheet. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar on the apple wedges.

Bake for 15-20 until golden brown and softened. Drizzle with the pan juices and serve warm or refrigerate and serve cold with ice cream.
