Dear Friends of Culinary Angels~
I have some very exciting news to share with you all!
Culinary Angels will be expanding our partnership with Sunflower Hill Gardens and moving our operations to their new residential facility at Irby Ranch in Pleasanton in early January 2021.
There will be no lapse in service to our recipients and both organizations will continue to operate autonomously while serving their respective communities and uphold their overall mission.
For those of you who don’t know, Culinary Angels has been partnering with Sunflower Hill for the past 3 years.
Along with Fertile Groundworks, they have been providing us with most of the beautiful local and organic produce that goes into our recipient meals.
In September, they completed a residential facility that provides 31 housing units for their developmentally disabled adults.
Part of that effort will include a meal program, and Culinary Angels will be not only be continuing to create our gorgeous meals for our recipients, but some of the residents that choose to have on-site meal offerings as well.
This exciting endeavor will allow Culinary Angels the ability to expand our services to those going through a serious health challenge while introducing our healing meals to another group of individuals that are in need at Irby Ranch.
We couldn’t be more excited about this amazing opportunity and look forward to a long and robust partnership.
Culinary Angels is ever grateful to First Presbyterian Church for supporting our fledgling organization, we really could not have come this far without them, and we are thrilled that they will always be a part of our story!
If you are a volunteer, Cathy Griggs will be sending you a separate email with further details.
Be well!
